The Equality Pledge

1. I will treat any identifying gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered (GLBT) customer or prospective customer with the same respect as I would any other.
2. If I am hiring a prospective employee, I will grant any GLBT individual with the same opportunity for employment as I would any other individual. I will also offer the same benefits to these individuals as I would any other non-GLBT person including offering any comparable benefits to same-sex partners as I would married couples.
3. I will not endorse or financially contribute to any initiative that promotes bigotry or discrimination of any GLBT person or group.
4. I support the legal recognition of committed and loving partnerships between two consenting adults and the ability for these two adults to have the right to form a family including adopting and/or raising children.

Look for Business and Professionals Pledging Equality

Watch for this icon indicating that a business or professional has committed to equality by signing our equality pledge. These organizations and/or professionals have taken a step beyond just being gay friendly and seek equal opportunity and treatment for all.
